Johnnie-O Makes Lexington Avenue Pop!

Lately NYC has had more than enough Spring Showers to last a lifetime, but lucky for us Johnnie-O is here to bring the sun and fun of California!

Last Thursday night the west coast clothing line Johnnie-O held their opening reception party at the RS Pop Shop.  If you were fortunate enough to be in the area you would have been greeted by a large window display with a beach chair, bright colored polos hanging from a clothesline, a blue decal of a surfer with his board and of course all of this laying on top of sand (yes, real sand!).

The celebration was set to begin at 5:30pm but the crowds started swarming in a lot earlier.  Invitees and locals alike were instantly attracted by the west coast pop of the space, the slushie machine, and Budweisers decorated with the American flag. By 6 o'clock the crowd in the shop had gotten so large that everyone started spilling right out into the sidewalk (as if the window beach scene wasn't attracting enough attention!).

Not only was the party a success because every fashion forward man in midtown was in attendance, but the shopping is what really took it to the next level!  People were entering the shop empty-handed and coming out with bags full of Johnnie-O goodies!  Goodies that included the famous Johnnie-O polos for men, women and children, beach towels, ties, jackets, belts and more (Father's Day gift ideas anyone?). 

If you weren't able to take part in this great night, you can still have some Johnnie-O fun and some guaranteed great finds!  Just stop by the shop any day of the week (Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm) until June 30th.
